PokeNuzlocke Endgame puzzles · Generation 9

Puzzle battles for Generation 9

A battle that is already half lost.
Save what can be saved.

You step into the middle of an endgame — both sides battered. One move saves your Pokemon, another one costs it. And that is provable, not a matter of opinion.

1

The battle is already running

Two full teams of six have gone at each other, the AI played the lead-in. You step in when it gets tight.

2

No luck, only decisions

The opponent is a fixed rule-based AI with no randomness. Dice are rolled only for damage and accuracy — no critical hits, no sleep, no paralysis.

3

And it is worked out

Every option is computed against best and worst damage roll as well as hit and miss. What you get at the end is not “probably not optimal”, but which moves would have cost you a Pokemon — and which would not.

Rules and settings

Dice are rolled only for damage and accuracy. No critical hits, no secondary effects, no paralysis, no sleep, no freezing. Poison and burn do occur — those behave predictably. What goes wrong is your decision, not your bad luck.
